A happy encounter of this kind occurred in the performance of my "Canticle of the Sun" by Friedrich Kleinhapl during the Aspekte Festival in Salzburg on 26 Mai 2010. I experienced an extraordinarily deep penetration of the inner content of this work and a perfect implementation of the thinking behind it.
The virtuoso command of all the techniques for sound production required by this work, perfection and artistry, purposefulness and will – all of these were revealed in a single, truly creative act.
